Substitutions

If a meal is unbalanced and can not be balanced with the existing ingredients, the application will offer you a list of possible substitutions or additional ingredients.  Choose the one that fits you best and the application will try to balance the meal again.

The meal is balanced according to the recommended energy value ratio of proteins, fat and carbohydrates. We also take into consideration the requirement of the energy density of meals and the recommended food pyramid for the relevant meal.

Balance a compound meal, i.e.
  • breakfast and morning snack together,
  • lunch and afternoon snack together, or
  • dinner and evening snack together.
