Why plan a menu?

If we belong to the risk group, either because we are ill or taking part in a world-class sport, etc., our diet should be planned. 

The diet plan includes distribution of food and nutrients energy by meals, as well as a selection of foods from different food groups, such as starchy foods (bread, rice, cereals, pasta, etc.), vegetables, fruits, milk and milk products, meat and substitutions, added sugar and added fat.
