What is an active lifestyle?

When our usual physical activity is increased to the point when it is beneficial to health, we're talking about an active lifestyle.

Low activity level:

  • moderate physical activity 150 minutes/week;
  • high intense activity 75 minutes/week.
Such activity level has mild benefits to our health.

Moderate activity level:
  • moderate physical activity 150-300 minutes/week;
  • high intense activity 75-150 minutes/week.
Such activity is very beneficial to your health.

High activity level:
  • moderate physical activity more than 300 minutes/week;
This much physical activity has additional positive health effects.
